Isaac news!!

Isaac Dalton Wilkerson was born 7/28/08 at 9:13 pm, he weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 19 3/4 in. long. The labor & delivery went wonderful, I got my epidural before real contractions even started. Yes, I'm a wimp, but that made things a WHOLE lot better for me & daddy too!! LOL Isaac had a rough time nursing at first, but we found out he was tongue tied, so when he was a week old, the pediatrician clipped the skin under his tongue so he can move it all around & he nurses MUCH better now!! He had his first appointment at Primary Children's Hospital at a week old also, he has a UPJ Obstruction, which is basically a kink in his ureter, so his left kidney stays full of fluid. We have 2 more tests & then meet with a pediatric urologist on the 2nd of September to see what happens next. It can correct itself so that surgery is not needed, so that is obviously what we are hoping for, so any prayers his way would be greatly appreciated!! Other than that, he is a very healthy boy, and a wonderful baby, he sleeps 6-8 hours at night already, we are blessed!!! We will be blessing him Labor day weekend, August 31 at 2:45, and after we will have a dinner, so watch for more details!!
